We recently traveled to Dallas for a memorable and rewarding conference. The fact that it was only a short drive (relatively – everything’s bigger in Texas) from our hometown of Houston made it easy for us to go to this event. Although it didn’t push us as far afield as some of our Third Coast Events travel opportunities, the conference offered a wealth of lasting benefits.
An event like the one in Dallas is ideal for building new connections with top performers from across our industry. We get to share best practices and learn what’s getting the job done in other markets at the same time. This always leads to a rapid exchange of new ideas when we get back to the Third Coast Events home office. It’s fun to see who brings back the most useful tips and tricks.
As we learn and network together at big industry gatherings, we also grow closer with our teammates. We tend to return home with fresh motivation to push ourselves to greater heights. Beyond that, we make sure to experience every place we visit to its fullest extent. We have contests to see who can find the best restaurants and coolest spot to hang out when we travel, which means we all win because we had fun in the process.
